CCC is currently looking for a Senior System Engineer. The Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting the Corporate Enterprise Infrastructure. This individual must be highly motivated and work collaboratively with the global team.

What you will be doing:

  1. Lead in improving corporate information technology architecture by creating Engineering solutions
  2. Contribute to the operations of the Data Center, host systems, virtual environments, storage, operating systems, fiber, UCS, and Cloud systems
  3. Team member of a 7x24 IT Operations team that includes supporting a global IaaS and Corporate infrastructure
  4. Work in a change management and compliance environment
  5. Provide long term engineering solutions that help reduce manual tasks for the help desk
  6. Strong customer service focus and excellent interpersonal skills
  7. Balance the demands of multiple constituencies, define priorities, and set appropriate expectations as well as strong organizational qualities in all aspects of work
  8. Conduct root cause analysis, maintain and constantly improve existing systems with your input

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Info Technology or Computer Science preferred, Microsoft Certified please
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a hands-on capacity
  • Strong knowledge of windows servers Operating Systems.
  • Active directory management (Domain controllers, forest/schema management, DNS, DFS, file and print services, OU membership, share drive access, GPO validation/management)
  • Experience with security issues and defenses including vulnerability management
  • Backup and recovery administration and strategy
  • Internet technologies including HTTP, SSL, LDAP and SMTP
  • Cloud operational experience with orchestration
  • Experience with AWS services or another major Cloud vendor
  • Administering or assisting in the administration of SANS and Fiber back bones infrastructures
  • Windows server administration including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and security
  • Installing, configuring, and managing multi-platform virtualization technologies such as VMWare
  • Installing and configuring O/S level clustering solutions
  • Business Continuity (Disaster Recovery) strategic planning and ongoing plan maintenance
  • Experience with a technical application platform environment that includes MS SQL, SharePoint, O365, Virus protection systems, Citrix XenApp/Xendesktop, and other corporate applications
  • Experience with SCCM/WSUS patch management
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Certificate management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on technical, computer related subject matter including systems administration policies and procedures, and hardware/software product and performance evaluations
