Responsibilities:

  • Lead business plan creation for new parts of Indigo's business and play a key role in our long-term business planning including content and financial workstreams
  • Own and design entire projects including setting key milestones, managing cross functional meetings, and holding others accountable
  • Launch new business units, including early operations work while working cross functionally
  • Lead new and manage existing partnerships including partner selection and contract terms
  • Support key components of Indigo’s equity and debt financings and M&A activity
  • Manage a team of Associates

Competencies:

  • Excellent analytical capabilities and strong financial modeling skills/experience
  • Able to run meetings with executive level stakeholders achieving meeting goals
  • Able to influence across levels without authority
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong story building and PowerPoint skills
  • Able to draft meeting ready versions of presentations to support strategic initiatives
  • Self-starter and ability to work with little guidance
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to requirements to complete projects
  • Strong interest in Indigo’s mission and helping company to execute to achieve goals
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skill sets
  • Able to manage ambiguity and own multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Able to take ownership in work
  • Highly organized and able to multitask

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Banking, private equity, consulting and/or strategy/business development experience
  • Agriculture experience not necessary
  • Experience managing others, able to do so in a respectful and productive manner that helps develop others
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a positive and team-oriented way whether as a project lead or as a contributor
  • Preference for a Boston-based candidate, but willing to be flexible on location

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
