Payfactors is looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer to join our Engineering Team. You will play a key role in IT security working with IT, Compliance, and Corporate Business Teams. The right individual for this role will be experienced with IT Administration, corporate device security, and data loss prevention systems. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: 

Bachelor’s degree required 

5-7 years of work experience, preferably in a technology-based company (SaaS experience a plus) 

Experience working with multiple cross functional teams including IT, Help Desk, and Client Services 

Experience with integration SSO and MFA platforms with corporate systems 

Experience with cloud platform hardening such as Office 365 or Google Apps 

Experience with Secure Email Gateways such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, or Barracuda 

Experience with implementing and tuning DLP tools 

Experience with MDM solutions, implementation, and tuning 

Experience with securing and hardening corporate systems such as laptops and mobile devices 

Experience working in a regulated and audited environment including SOC2, ISO, PCI, and HIPAA 

Experience with information security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or CIS 

Experience with Incident Response techniques and testing 

Ability to support and implement Information Security policies and standards within a corporate computing environment 

Familiarity with BCP principles and testing methodologies 

Strong communication and writing skills 

Ability to collaborate with peers, managers, and clients 

Awareness and pride in 100% client satisfaction 

Boston-area based - No sponsorship or relocation available at this time 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Work with IT and various business units to implement secure practices and processes 

Work with IT on SSO and MFA implementation projects 

Work with IT on supporting Business Continuity measures and testing 

Work with IT on corporate device hardening and monitoring including MDM implementation 

Tune DLP platform rules, monitoring, and alerting including violations 

Tune email security processes and monitoring include SEG 

Support expansion of business and Corporate IT security controls 

Assist with SOC2 and internal audits 

Respond and investigate corporate security incidents and violations 

Assist in customer responses regarding corporate security including questionnaires and calls
