The role of Sr IT Manager, E-Commerce is to lead and manage IT platforms and activities for digital sales and payment services. In this hands-on role, you will be the go-to resource to define, design, configure and deploy Indigo’s e-commerce platform in support of Indigo’s Consumer, B2B, Quality and Carbon Credit Lines of Business globally. You will recommend best practices in leveraging eCommerce, analytics, payment platforms & services to meet day-to-day business needs as well as scaling and automating for volume and growth. You will lead cross-functional teams to implement solutions that align with business expectations. You will interface with senior management to define a technology roadmap that aligns with key business goals and objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Align on and refine multi-year roadmap with primary business partners
  • Develop working relationships across relevant cross-functional teams
  • Deploy baseline functionality for
    •  B2C direct sales
    •  B2B, EDI integration
    •  Fulfillment, TMS, dropship integration, and inventory management
    •  Payment Services Partner integration
    •  Payment processing & settlement
    •  Analytics
    •  Unified Data Platform integration
  • Assume ownership of all day-to-day management of e-commerce site operations, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to enable new content implementation (content/promotions/products/payment)
    •  Establish governance and change management practices for self-service changes
  • Leverage technical capabilities to streamline operations for incident management across technology stack and partners (eg. Shopify, payment service provider, technology stack, SLAs)
  • Establish regular reporting on site performance for key business partners
  • Identify and conduct required end user training sessions

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, iterative manner
  • Able to form good trusting relationships with business partners across various groups
  • Proven ability with vendor management
  • Skilled at strategically presenting various technical options; balances both a strategic and technical mindset
  • Ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment including offshore resources

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience building e-commerce website(s)
    •  Proven experience scaling an e-commerce website with high transaction volume
  • Experience with both B2C, B2B, dropship fulfillment models
  • Experience with payment service platforms and bank integration (merchant services, payment gateway, PayPal, etc.)
  • Experience with digital payments, wallets, hyperledger, blockchain technologies
  • Technology expertise with industry platforms (Shopify, DemandWare/Salesforce Commerce Cloud, EDI, SPS, etc.)
  • Experience working internationally (EMEA, LATAM) preferred

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
