InterSystems Virtual Training Producers play a crucial role during the delivery of virtual classes on our software, database and interoperability technologies. Producers help with the delivery of training solutions worldwide that empower learners from Global 500 companies to regional hospitals. We are looking for bright, confident and personable Virtual Training Producers to join our training team. Successful Virtual Training Producers help the delivery of virtual classes flow smoothly, providing a positive experience for all learners. Producers work collaboratively with trainers before and during class to deliver successful training courses.

Experienced producers will train and mentor you as you learn and excel in supporting the delivery of live virtual technical training courses. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a desire to assist others will help you succeed in this role. This is an office-based role. 

Responsibilities

• Work with and support InterSystems technical trainers prior to and during live virtual training courses. (Adobe Connect is currently used as the virtual training presentation software.)
• Prepare virtual training environments for classes including setting up poll questions, preparing breakout rooms, creating layouts, writing producer notes and more.
• Provide support to trainers and excellent customer service to virtual learners during classes.
• Document course activities and coordinate timings to ensure smooth course flow.
• Help solve learners’ problems quickly as they use the virtual training software.
• Work collaboratively with other producers and trainers to improve virtual training delivery.
• Support other areas of the Learning Services department when you are not working in a virtual classroom.

• Become an expert in virtual training software tools, including Adobe Connect and WebEx.
• Sharpen your attention to detail and increase your flexibility as you support the demands of shifting virtual classroom environments.
• Cultivate and refine client-facing interpersonal skills as you produce virtual training experiences for diverse learners.
• Enrich your technical acuity as you work with Adobe Connect and other products used by InterSystems Learning Services.

Qualifications

• Experience producing live instruction virtual training classes is desired but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates.
• Technical experience with virtual training software (Adobe Connect, WebEx, Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.) is desired but not required.
• Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to help others.
• Business administration or customer service background is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Flexibility both inside and outside of the virtual classroom.

Education

• University degree or related experience.
