Bullhorn is looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our Finance team.
Why this job is important:
This position will have responsibility for preparing requisitions, issuing purchase orders, resolving invoice issues, managing the procurement lifecycle, recommending improvements to processes, and developing routine reports. In addition, this position will work with vendors to establish communication with key stakeholders and account holders.
A typical day might include:
- Collaborating within the teams to ensure a smooth handoff of executed contracts.
- Creating purchase requisitions, and communicating issued purchase orders to suppliers.
- Interfacing with various stakeholders and vendors to ensure a smooth and seamless process.
- Coordinating the final stages of the contracting process to include obtaining authorized signatures, creating new supplier records, inputting relevant contract metadata into the contract management repository, and communicating purchase order information to suppliers to ensure proper invoicing.
- Participating in process improvement projects. Initiate ideas for improvement.
- Managing, tracking and updating new and existing agreements, contracts, amendments, and addenda.
- Maintaining accurate and complete supplier information in the DocuSign Contract Lifecycle Management system.
- Developing and distribute routine reports related to the contract portfolio.
- Developing and managing relationships with internal customers and suppliers to ensure satisfaction through effective, timely communication and problem resolution.
- Conducting vendor and spend analyses and disseminating monthly reports to department leadership.
- Assisting with monthly reporting for Travel and Expense program areas.
This role may be a fit for you if:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related area
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Procurement, Purchasing, or Sourcing Analytics role
- Professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Knowledge or experience within infrastructure, including data centers, servers, bandwidth, etc.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and analysis
- Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Planning, critical thinking, and organizational agility are key skills
- Ability to work in a geographically dispersed organization and within a remote virtual environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- A basic understanding of contract terms and experience with contract life cycle management systems is required
