Print Technician Lead at Markforged

We are looking for a Print Technician Lead to join us and support fast paced development of the world’s most advanced 3D printers. This is a player/coach role, where you will work closely with stakeholders from the engineering and product teams to coordinate resource allocation, build out processes for validating our systems, and ensure we meet our commitments.
What you will own:- Lead/mentor a team of 4-6 print technicians
- Build out processes for streamlining the management and utilization of our print farm(s)
- Become an expert in operating and maintaining Markforged 3D Printers and support equipment
- Serve as point of contact for resource allocation to ensure the print farm meets its commitments to its internal customers
- Responsible for maximizing our print farm utilization and uptime
- Ideates, tests, and implements changes and improvements to internal processes to improve overall print farm productivity and quality of life

What you have:- BA or BS in Design, Engineering, Manufacturing or similar technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience leading a team
- Familiarity with metrology / automated measuring equipment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- An eye for process development and improvement
- Excellent team player; comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, interdisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking tool is a plus
- Previous experience using 3D printers
