Why this job is important:
As a Network Engineer you will work with the head of Bullhorn's internal IT Group to provide world-class network and security support for a global company of 1200+ users. You will troubleshoot remote offices running on Cisco networking infrastructure and determine best practices for scalability and continued growth.
Typical Day for an IT, Network Engineer:
Responsible for the managing, troubleshooting, and upgrading of global network infrastructure.
Responsible for the interoperability of cloud-based systems and platforms.
Escalation point for network and security operations.
Monitoring and maintaining all production system equipment and services.
Managing technology projects from initiation to completion.
Establishing networking best practices, documentation, and training materials.
Traveling to global offices to build, improve, or troubleshoot local infrastructure.
The Job Might be for You, If:
You have an active CCNA certification.
You have an advanced knowledge of network concepts and architecture (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, and VoIP).
You have strong technical knowledge of PC hardware, Google Apps, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Active Directory in a networked environment.
Bonus points for:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field of study.
