Why this job is important:

As a Network Engineer you will work with the head of Bullhorn's internal IT Group to provide world-class network and security support for a global company of 1200+ users. You will troubleshoot remote offices running on Cisco networking infrastructure and determine best practices for scalability and continued growth.

 

Typical Day for an IT, Network Engineer:

  • Responsible for the managing, troubleshooting, and upgrading of global network infrastructure.

  • Responsible for the interoperability of cloud-based systems and platforms.

  • Escalation point for network and security operations.

  • Monitoring and maintaining all production system equipment and services.

  • Managing technology projects from initiation to completion.

  • Establishing networking best practices, documentation, and training materials.

  • Traveling to global offices to build, improve, or troubleshoot local infrastructure.

 

The Job Might be for You, If:

  • You have an active CCNA certification.

  • You have an advanced knowledge of network concepts and architecture (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, and VoIP).

  • You have strong technical knowledge of PC hardware, Google Apps, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Active Directory in a networked environment.

 

Bonus points for:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field of study.
