Summary
We are seeking a highly-talented, adaptable Technology Manager to support our next generation of cloud and infrastructure services. We are looking for a creative professional with the energy to effect organizational transformation, with a passion for communications, technology, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
This role will encompass a variety of areas and activities, including managing internal communications and driving organizational alignment. Exceptional ability to “tell a story” both written and digitally and technology acumen are a must.
The right person will help create our digital transformation narrative through active engagement with the broader team, and driving transparency and operational effectiveness across the organization. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders while contributing to the acceleration of Capital One's digital transformation. As a team member of the Tech Commercialization team, you'll play an important strategic and operational role in the success of the organization.
What You’ll Do
As part of the Tech Commercialization team, you will work on a wide variety of projects supporting the goals of the organization. You will partner and work closely with members of the Program, Product and Governance teams. Working with the business side of a software organization to build out higher-level automated reporting, process improvements, content building and documentation to support the various work streams and priorities. Data analysis based on detailed gap analysis to align the organization as it scales and moves forward. There will be a strong focus on overall team building and organizational maturity.
Responsibilities include:
Strong ability to analyze processes and teams to recommend and implement process improvements
Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team, as well as business partners across the enterprise. He/she should foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and be able to consistently deliver results
Preparing presentations for employees, executives and stakeholders
Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus
The Successful Candidate Will:

Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build compelling presentations, status reports and other materials for executive audiences

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 5 years of experience with project or process management
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree
5+ years of experience writing communications or developing presentations for audiences that include corporate intranet, department associates, and technology executives
1+ year of experience working with public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
1+ year of experience with Google Suite products
