Klaviyo is looking for an IT Specialist II with a background in tech support to join our team. This person will be an integral part of the SearchBar team and will assist with employee onboarding, inventory maintenance, overseeing a ticket queue, creating automated workflows, and documentation of processes for our internal knowledge base.
An ideal candidate will possess a proactive self-starter attitude with a thirst for knowledge and concise communication skills. The ability to prioritize workload, communicate complex situations to users with a baseline understanding, and proactively make decisions on the fly are some of the most important aspects of the role.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Oversee the daily ticket queue, providing real-time support to remote and in-office employees by asking the right questions to dig into the root cause of the problem
- Identify recurring technical issues through ticket prioritizations, fixing problems at the root using workflow automators, code, or other automotive techniques
- Assist with hardware needs; setting up and deprovising devices, installing and configuring softwares, as well as shipping, and receiving
- Be an active participant in eliminating manual procedures through workflow automations
- Writing and publishing Knowledge Base articles for IT and Klaviyos
- Maintain clean and efficient technical work stations throughout the Boston Office
- Take ownership of a track within IT, becoming an all encompassed expert with which you can teach and share knowledge with the team
Who You Are:
- 2+ years experience working in a helpdesk or support environment
- Experience with MDM and SSO strategy and support, Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace, Workday or FreshService
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel and work in our Boston office as required
- Passionate about learning new technologies and passing that knowledge on
- Able to handle freight shipments and moving equipment up to 50lbs
- Enjoy working on difficult problems and finding impactful solutions
- Experience with programming languages or scripting knowledge is preferred
- Able to work from the Boston office at least 2-3 days per week, as well as offer occasional after-hours event support.
