Summary
Even the most well-oiled machines need great people to keep the wheels turning. We are looking for a motivated, passionate individual to join our IT Operations team as the go-to resource for all things related to LevelUp operational systems, hardware, and network. As a member of the IT Ops team, you will be supporting and maintaining mission-critical IT systems and infrastructure for our Boston office of more than 250 people. You will have an immediate and direct impact on supporting the entire LevelUp office as the company continues on its rapid growth trajectory.
The position will work alongside the Office and Facilities Manager and report to the IT Operations Lead, and secondarily to the LevelUp Chief Operations Officer. You will be responsible for responding to day-to-day IT issues arising in the office, and assisting the Team Lead with improving the overall functionality of our office technology including: hardware & software, systems access, and audio video conferencing.
The ideal candidate is a ‘techy’ who is interested in implementing new technologies, has a strong sense of urgency and prioritization and can communicate exceptionally well with all types of employees, technical & non-technical.

Here are some specific responsibilities you will have:

  • Provide application system access and serve as an Administrator through Okta, the SSO Provider
  • Distribute equipment and software licenses
  • Communicate IT best practices and set-up for all new hires
  • Set-up and manage equipment for team meetings, both on and off-site
  • Support Tier 1 IT bugs and fixes to hardware, software or other office technology
  • Contribute to improving processes and documenting policies

  • Is hyper focused on the details
  • Knows how to use Mac’s so well that you could probably work at the Apple Store
  • Doesn’t shy away from talking to humans face to face. Yes. Humans.
  • Is comfortable with the fact that no two days will be alike
