As a Numerated IT generalist, you’ll do everything from helping your coworkers with their pesky computer problems, to designing and building IT infrastructure. Furthermore, since our IT and infosec teams work hand-in-hand on a daily basis, you’ll also have the opportunity to ramp up your infosec skills. If you have a passion for IT, a love of learning, a customer-oriented mindset, and an interest in branching out into infosec, we’d love to meet you.

As our IT generalist, you should be local to the greater Boston area, since work at our Boston headquarters is occasionally required. However, 90%+ of the work for this role can be performed remotely, and Numerated strongly supports and enables remote work for employees who prefer it.

Essential Responsibilities /

In this role, you will:

  • support macOS laptops
  • support and administer a large suite of corporate cloud applications including Google Workspace, JumpCloud, Zoom, 1Password, CrowdStrike Falcon, Office, Adobe, Virtru, and many others
  • respond to notifications and alerts generated by our IT infrastructure
  • perform IT onboarding and offboarding for arriving and departing employees
  • identify gaps in our IT infrastructure and drive projects to fill them
  • identify opportunities for efficiency improvements through better IT automation and integration, and make them happen
  • learn about information security and work on infosec strategic projects and routine activities

Education Requirements /

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Preferred
  • Master’s degree Not Required
  • Certification Requirements: Not Required, depending on specific certification may be an acceptable substitute for a degree

Work Experience Requirements /

  • 1+ years of experience supporting macOS and/or enterprise cloud applications
  • in-depth knowledge of and experience with one or more IT products and/or applications
  • scripting or programming experience (Python preferred) a big plus
