Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking an IT Asset Manager to be part of the IT Asset and Configuration Management (CMDB) team in Boston, MA. The IT Asset Manager will work to grow and mature the IT Asset Program with a primary focus on hardware. This role will oversee hardware and software asset processes and enforce policies across all Chewy sites including corporate, fulfilment and customer service locations. This includes training local IT team members and working with IT Site managers to ensure business needs are being met. This role will lead activities focused on process enhancement, data accuracy, and standardization throughout Chewy. The IT Asset Manager is responsible for measuring and managing KPIs for asset data while also driving maturity by implementing new tools, processes, or policies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee daily and long-term activities for effective management of IT hardware and software across the organization
  • Partner with IT Leadership, Procurement, Finance, Legal and vendors to establish and enhance policies/processes for effective IT asset management
  • Drive implementation of automated processes to increase efficiency and data accuracy around IT assets
  • Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports that concern asset management
  • Drive adoption and enforcement of current state asset processes and policies throughout all Chewy sites
  • Lead quarterly audits to ensure process and policy are followed. Identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions to drive maturity, meet KPIs, and solve business problems
  • Develop strong relationships with IT Site leads and vendors to ensure business needs are being met
  • Ensure all hardware assets are tracked within ServiceNow and ensure critical data points are captured at every lifecycle stage
  • Oversee IT asset processes for all Chewy sites including stockroom inventory, computer refresh, termination reclamation and disposal
  • Oversee centralized IT Procurement processes ensuring timely procurement, delivery and receipt of assets
  • Manage the IT Quarterly budget process ensuring appropriate budget is requested and spend effectively managed throughout the quarter
  • Oversee management of IT Software entitlements and usage

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of five years experience leading IT Asset Management programs
  • IT Asset Management certifications such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
  • Extensive experience using the ServiceNow hardware/software asset and reporting modules
  • Extensive experience leveraging Endpoint Management tools (SCCM, JAMF, Absolute) for asset tracking
  • Operational experience performing data/process audits and developing/implementing remediation projects
  • Experience creating IT processes, policies, and reports
  • Proficiency in data analysis within Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work well with others, contribute to team values and rapport-building across the organization
  • Effective prioritization skills and the ability to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Position may require travel
