ezCater is growing so rapidly that we keep running out of room for our people to work! So we are looking for a people-centric Manager of Facilities to help us create an outstanding work environment for our team at our HQ here in Boston as well as our future offices to be opened this year. You will make sure that our office footprint keeps pace with our growth, and will also own every facet of ensuring our workspace is well-designed, well-equipped, and secure. Oh, and you’ll make it a welcoming and fun place to work as well!
What you’ll do:
Manage and run design and construction projects for outside contractors and vendors at all ezCater offices.
Lead and manage the expansion of ezCater with new US and international offices, including office space selection, lease negotiation, and build out.
Forecast and plan for growth. Working closely with Finance and Talent to determine our operational needs as we continue to expand.
Manage our offices. You will work with our office manager and building management to schedule deliveries, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring that our facilities strategy is based on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Chip in everywhere! We wear multiple hats at ezCater, and this role wears more than a few.
You have:
Done this before. You’ve been at a high-growth Startup and led the physical expansion of office space and supported multiple locations.
Experience managing office managers.
Vendor management and contract negotiation skills at the forefront of your abilities.
An eye for culture. You know how to create a workspace that people will want to work in.
An insanely helpful attitude. There is no job too big or too small for you.
