Director, Risk Management

Responsibilities:

  • Take on role of leading Indigo’s Business Risk Committee (BRC)
    • Prioritize, prepare materials for, and lead BRC meetings
  • Build relationships across the company and facilitate a proactive view on Risk Management
    • Work with Controller to establish and enforce pricing and terms on “new” business
    • Ensure Indigo follows “best practice” trading procedures
  • Implement third-party risk software successfully and ensure proper testing
  • Automate risk reporting via new technology
  • Work with finance to establish and capture Non-GAAP reporting as it relates to Hedging
  • Capture and report risk and trading information to stakeholders
  • Support Indigo’s financing efforts by instilling Investor confidence
  • Create and present relevant materials and act as the Risk Management SME

Qualifications:

  • 5 + years of commodity hedging/ risk management experience
  • Knowledge of derivatives
  • Strong executive presence
  • Knowledge of Ag & commodity markets
  • Language; English required, Spanish and Portuguese nice to have
  • Knowledge of international markets
  • ERM experience, nice to have

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
