We are looking for a Director of Network Development in Texas who will be responsible for the recruitment, engagement and education of Physician providers within central states. This role uniquely blends strategy, analytics, sales, and innovation in a market-facing leadership position. You will assist in implementing our go-to-market strategy for partnering with high-value Nephrology and Primary Care providers. This role will work within a matrix organization to create cross functional efficiencies and collaboration. You will report directly to the Vice President of Network Development while providing support to Clinical and Account Management teams. 

Physician partnerships are mission-critical in deploying Cricket’s integrated technology and clinical offering. Ease of doing business, workflow neutral solutions, clinical autonomy, and aligned incentives are some of the most common topics this team must be comfortable discussing when presenting Cricket’s solution. This Director serves as the spokesperson to the Physician community and is entrusted with managing multiple relationships and market strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Educate and partner with Physician and payer community to assist in Cricket’s rollout and on-going operations 
  • Demonstrates clear knowledge and comprehension of Cricket’s value proposition and enrollment process
  • Foster strategic provider partnerships and functional working relationships with Nephrologists, Primary Care Providers, Access Surgeons, alternative Specialists and hospital systems and providers
  • Build market-specific Network Development strategies based on local market intelligence, Network data and Organizational objectives
  • Collaborate with our data and reporting team to house master data sets by region/state to ensure centralized repository accuracy
  • Implement value-based compensation models with Physicians and Payers
  • Develop and implement co branding strategies with Cricket payer partners
  • Fortify relationship with payer’s clinical leadership to expedite introductions and meetings with identified provider partners 
  • Partner closely with payer partners to ensure mitigation of payer abrasion and market disruption 
  • Oversee provider engagement through community events, such as educational sessions, networking events and strategic roundtable discussions
  • Connect with Marketing and Product teams to develop provider and patient-facing materials to assist with both education and recruitment

Required Qualifications:

  • College Degree required
  • Master’s Degree preferred 
  • 7+ years of Provider-facing experience required 
  • Understanding of financial drivers/incentives for Physician Practices, Payer partners and other healthcare stakeholders
  • Understanding of current CKD/ESRD landscape, relating to pending legislation, market forces, 
  • Experience working alongside and negotiating with healthcare providers in the following roles: corporate strategy, payer contracting, payer provider relations, business development, practice (ACO, MSO, IPA, or other) management, or physician leadership
  • Knowledge of value-based care models and contracting; experience with bundled payments, case rates, sub-capitated risk arrangements is a plus
