CCC is currently looking for a talented Senior Desktop Administrator to join our team!

The Senior Desktop Administrator is a key member of the team providing IT support for CCC employees. This role will participate in remote and on premise problem-solving for internal customers. Familiarity with both troubleshooting hardware and software for end users. 

Some of the work you'll do: 

  • Provide “white glove level” assistance to end users in all areas of Desktop Administration at CCC.
  • Assist in the administration of corporate computers environments including definition, audit, enforcement of system standards and configuration, new hardware and software evaluation and implementation, hardware and software upgrades, systems monitoring, upgrade analysis, problem-solving, software licensing, evaluating and applying security patches
  • Research, recommend, and assist in the implementation of key technological and procedural decisions geared towards improving our employees' productivity and computing experience. 
  • Consistently learning new technology. 
  • Have work flexibility during non-business hours as required (typically scheduled in advance)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience. 
  • 4+ years of related experience in an IT Service Desk / Desktop Administration role focusing on Microsoft environment (Windows 7/10, MSO 2016/365, Active Directory, SCCM, etc.).
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience and ability to effectively prioritize and handle the demands of multiple constituencies and exhibit strong organizational qualities in all aspects of work within a demanding, 24/7 business critical IT environment, for both local and remote staff.
  • Advanced knowledge of anti-virus and anti-malware software, PC and data backup/restore, recovery solutions, and remote access (e.g., VPNs, Citrix, Terminal Server, Remote Desktop) is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on technical, computer related subject matter, i.e., technical documentation, detailed and accurate issue descriptions and resolutions, checklists, company / departmental communications, projects.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of issues inherent to Microsoft application Suites and other vendors software: Licensing, deployment, functionality.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of issues inherent to Dell hardware including, but not limited to: Model selection, imaging and upgrades
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of issues inherent to other hardware including, but not limited to:
    • Mobile devices and related Exchange synchronization issues.
    • Network fundamentals, Printers and scanners (primarily HP) and other PC peripherals.
    • Audio visual equipment.
  • Apple equipment and Mac OS/iOS support experience is a plus.
  • Experience with virtual machines (VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V) is a plus.
  • Google Apps support and administration experience is a plus.
  • Current IT industry certifications a plus (MCSA/MCSE/CompTIA, etc)
