There are 60K+ caterers in the ezCater marketplace, and each partner is a vital asset to our network. Our caterers range from Mom & Pop shops and food trucks to large-scale national chains — each with their own processes and challenges around delivery. Third party partnerships represent the next phase of ezCater’s growth, as they offer us a potentially game-changing win-win. With a healthy network of delivery partners in our top cities, caterers will take on increased order volume, customers will benefit from more options, and ezCater will continue to do what we do best: offer solutions.
That’s where you come in — we’re searching for an delivery monitoring specialist to help support our third party delivery team. This is a role with tremendous opportunity to make an immediate impact on the success of our third party delivery program.
What you'll do:
- Work across departments and with external delivery/caterer contacts to resolve delivery issues to quickly resolve existing order issues
- Proactively monitor order management systems to ensure that late orders and orders with issues are processed as quickly as possible
- Handle third party delivery inquiries and concerns (resolving what you can/escalating when necessary)
- Support our customer service and sales teams in their efforts to answer customer inquiries
- Provide backup support by helping to process deliveries as needed
- Provide direct input into the existing user tools and make recommendations for process changes/improvements
- Provide direct input on current procedures and help develop scalable solutions for the future
You have:
- 2+ years in a customer-facing role
- 1+ years experience working with external vendors/partners
- Exemplary written and verbal skills
- A passion for building and maintaining relationships
- The ability to work effectively with people in a cross-functional environment
- Proactive tendencies in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving solutions
- Experience or familiarity with the catering or restaurant industry
- The ability to stay calm, collected, and organized -- even while shifting gears
- A service-with-a-smile attitude
