We are looking for a detailed oriented, self-driven individual to join our Corporate Development team as an Integration Lead. 


The ideal candidate will be a get-things-done professional who adapts quickly and builds credibility and trust with founders/executives of target companies, while coordinating with internal cross-functional stakeholders on time/mission critical company wide operational issues. 


As a Corporate Development Integration Lead, you will work closely with our deal Leads and Executive Team to facilitate end-to-end integration planning and execution. This role will be instrumental in supporting the due diligence, integration planning and execution phases of strategic acquisitions. You will plan integration strategies, realize and accelerate deal value, plan for a smooth onboarding experience and manage priorities across internal cross-functional teams. You will be the first hire in this function, within a high-performing, fast-paced team and you’ll help define and implement best-in-class integration plans. 


This team (including Strategy and Corporate Development) drives growth by sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and executing exciting acquisitions, strategic opportunities and partnerships -- and then work to make them happen. Consisting of experienced merger-and-acquisition leaders, investment professionals, strategy specialists, and integration experts, we are dedicated to identifying where MCG should go next. We find and evaluate acquisition and strategic opportunities across existing and future markets, drive management team conclusions, head agreement facilitations, and help manage post-acquisition integration.

You Will:

  • Support the strategic integration planning, due diligence and execution phases of M&A transactions that align to the business objectives
  • Drive core internal projects related to M&A deal integration planning and performance measurement
  • Spot and creatively solve complex, cross-functional operational issues, often unique to each deal
  • Mobilize core teams: Coordinate and project/task manage diligence efforts and integration priorities internally and with the management team of target companies
  • Continually refine best practices for integration consistent with our culture
  • Deep understanding of the company’s strategic priorities and embody our culture to support and advise target companies during integration
  • Ability and willingness to travel (domestic and international)

You Have:

  • 5+ years experience working with cross-functional groups in consulting, technical, product or relevant industry
  • 3+ years experience in M&A integration or project management roles
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating effectively across all levels and teams across the organization
  • Interpersonal experience, team-oriented and proven experience building relationships
  • Experience communicating and acting as an advisor to senior leadership
  • Highly organized and productive especially under high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios
  • Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience multitasking to lead and execute multiple projects in parallel
  • Comfortable adapting to rapid change common in tech environments

You May Have:

  • Systems integration experience
  • Subject matter expertise in music production / audio engineering
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology with an acumen to engage with product and engineering leaders on tech roadmaps

We have a thoughtful approach when it comes to compensation. Towards the end of each interview process, we create customized compensation reports based on skill, years of experience, geographic location, and other factors driven by market research. Specific details may be discussed during the initial call with the Talent Acquisition Partner. Market data in Colorado suggests this position’s compensation would start at $133k based on geographic location and skill level. Upon assessment of the individual’s experience an exact amount will be determined.
