Associate VP, Distribution Transformation

Humana is seeking a seasoned product development leader with a focus on the design of digitally-enabled end-to-end service experiences for a newly created Associate VP, Distribution Transformation position. As AVP, Distribution Transformation you will drive the development of a new model for our inside Medicare sales experience encompassing digital and contact center channels. This role will lead a human-centered agile multi-disciplinary product, design and engineering team working directly with senior leaders and subject matter experts in marketing, sales operations, digital, technology and Medicare insurance products to create the future inside sales operating model. With senior leadership support, the AVP, Distribution Transformation will incubate and learn in 2020 to test a new model during Humana’s 2021 Annual Enrollment Period (October – December 2020), with a goal of deploying the new model broadly in 2021 in partnership with operating leaders.
Responsibilities
Humana is seeking a seasoned product development leader with a focus on the design of digitally-enabled end-to-end service experiences for a newly created Associate VP, Distribution Transformation position. As AVP, Distribution Transformation you will drive the development of a new model for our inside Medicare sales experience encompassing digital and contact center channels. This role will lead a human-centered agile multi-disciplinary product, design and engineering team working directly with senior leaders and subject matter experts in marketing, sales operations, digital, technology and Medicare insurance products to create the future inside sales operating model. With senior leadership support, the AVP, Distribution Transformation will incubate and learn in 2020 to test a new model during Humana’s 2021 Annual Enrollment Period (October – December 2020), with a goal of deploying the new model broadly in 2021 in partnership with operating leaders. Key responsibilities will include:
- Set the vision of the overall strategy from launch to scale; including both near and long-term goals and strategies
- Successfully prioritize and manage a roadmap across multiple interdependent products within a portfolio to achieve clear OKRs with measurement plans against business and consumer experience KPIs
- Drive day-to-day operations of the development team, in partnership with your product leaders, making key decisions and trade-offs with resources and budget allocation
- Serve as chief internal spokesperson for core mission, strategic priorities, product and services – build relationships and consensus across the organization
- Cultivate a high-performing, agile, one-team culture
- Develop and implement scalable and efficient strategies to ensure both consistent results and growth
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in related field
- 10+ years Product Development, Digital Product, Design Strategy, and/or Corporate Innovation
- Ability to balance start-up mindset and execution with corporate priorities and desires
- Proven track record of building successful digital products and high caliber teams from the ground up
- Experience managing corporate stakeholders to keep regular updates on business and progress
- Ability to travel to contact center sites: 20-40%
Preferred Qualifications
- Master degree
- Agile digital development skillset
- Service design experience
- Contact Center as a Service platform implementation
- Medicare or insurance marketing and/or sales experience
