Description
The Technical Program Manager, AI Operations is accountable for overseeing clinical operations activities for Iterative Scopes Research and Development projects in support of the development of artificial intelligence algorithms in the gastroenterology space to impact the next generation of patient care.
This position is multi-faceted, including strategic, collaborative, and operational components. The Technical Program Manager oversees data processes ranging from video and image annotation, data workflows, and documentation. Additionally, the Technical Program Manager will collaborate closely with internal Product and Engineering teams to oversee the execution of labeling processes across multiple R&D initiatives, interface with external parties to design and present on our data utilization strategy to support algorithm development, and champion early-stage pilot initiatives as we launch innovative objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee annotation teams within the Clinical Operations group to support the development of labeling and dataset creation strategies for new and existing R&D objectives
- Optimize R&D operations by designing scalable and organized processes across all projects
- Work with external parties to design and present on medical image annotation strategy
- Collaborate with internal Product and Engineering teams to align strategies for new and existing project objectives. Gain buy-in from senior leadership, and be a champion for innovation based on insights from pilot evaluations and results
- Identify data and technology solutions and communicate product requirements for platform workflows and dashboards to manage and monitor annotation processes to gain insight into data with real-time dashboards
- Strategize, plan, and implement pilot studies to test out novel approaches for algorithm development
- Contribute to the development of project objectives, including algorithm features, development, and evaluation plans. Plan and develop with clear objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Proactively manage and resolve issues to minimize crises and escalations. Engage the appropriate internal team members when needed to help resolve project issues
- Promote a continuous improvement culture to streamline appropriate processes for maximum efficiency and productivity

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in the medical image or video annotation
- Experience in algorithm development processes using computer vision and machine learning and evaluation processes
- Experience in an entrepreneurial environment or in delivering against ambitious targets & goals in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare sector experience
- Graduate degree in related field
- Comfortable performing data analysis
- Comfortable with writing SQL queries a plus
- Experience with Splunk, optional
