Merchandise Planning Manager, Follain

Roles + Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales, inventory and assortment plans.
• Establish and manage pricing and margin strategies.
• Develop, execute and manage merchandise plans that tie to the financial targets and contribute to the success of the organization by forging strong cross-functional partnerships, correlating historical and current trends, planning and forecasting KPIs, optimizing inventory and allocation and articulates results.
• Develop business process and reporting requirements.
• Build annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily plans, from the bottom up (item, category, department).
• Oversee creation and management of all open to buy activities.

Profile:

• High level of analytical thinking with strong aptitude for retail math and forecasting methodology.
• Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize.
• Strong Excel skills in addition to technical aptitude to learn and use web based tools.
• Process development experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to work with all levels within the organization.
• Comfortable with fast paced start-up environment.
• Values health, and is excited to be part of a team making change.
