Catalant is at a phase of its growth where Marketing is at the core of our strategy. We’re seeking an experienced marketing leader to join our team in a critical and highly visible role. This is an exciting and unique opportunity because it combines growth levers of a Marketplace, Product-Led Growth strategy, and Enterprise B2B business. We’re building a high growth GTM model that embeds our high-end Talent Marketplace into the largest organizations in the world with a combination of acquisition at both the account and user level.
We’re investing heavily in digital user acquisition, retention, and growth, complimented by thought leadership and more traditional B2B account acquisition. We’re looking for a leader who has experience across these key areas and is looking for an opportunity to be innovative and aggressively test and scale one of the first B2B Marketplaces focused on large enterprises.
What you'll do
- Develop and drive a comprehensive Marketing strategy that appropriately balances user-based digital acquisition and enterprise account acquisition strategies
- Develop and oversee execution of our Digital Marketing strategy and help us understand channels for organic growth over time
- Partner with our product leadership to evolve our product-led growth strategy and ensure our product roadmap and overall product strategy is aligned to our Digital Marketing strategy
- Evolve our core messaging to ensure we have a simple, direct, specific value proposition to our core users and champions and help us evolve that over time as we continue to increase the value we deliver
- Develop and drive a thought leadership strategy to help educate C-level leaders to individual users about our value proposition and the future of work
- Develop and oversee execution of our content strategy and roadmap to support our evolving Market position and in support of both a user-based and account-based acquisition strategy
- Bring a clear focus on not just who our product and its features are important to, but why; use behavioral and market data together to clearly articulate the value of Catalant
- Partner with sales, product, and customer experience to ensure there is an interwoven and cohesive experience that focuses on product adoption while keeping customer value front and centerPlay a key role as a member of the leadership team developing the company’s evolving GTM strategy and overall direction
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a best in class marketing team, as appropriate over time and commensurate with the company’s growth
- Engage the executive team and the Board in the marketing strategy and plan, presenting regular status updates as appropriate
What you'll bring
- Accomplished, metric and data-driven senior marketing leader (10+ years experience) with proven ability to implement winning marketing strategies and position products and solutionsExperience driving marketing for a B2B technology company, and experience in a marketplace product is preferred; if you understand our industry well (consulting, freelancing, staffing) - even better!
- Strong experience in digital marketing and building an online brand and voice, with a focus on senior leaders at mid-market to large enterprises
- Proven success building, evolving, scaling, and inspiring a strong, data-driven Marketing team
- Proven success helping drive company culture and acting as a company-wide leader
- Some experience across Product Marketing, Digital Demand Generation, Marketing analytics, and / or thought leadership development. While it’s unlikely you’ll be an expert in all areas of the business, familiarity with and ability to oversee each aspect of marketing will be critical
- Proven success as a leader; known for hiring high quality people and building + developing a top tier marketing team
