Sitting within the Customer Marketing team, this role will be responsible for driving advocacy at the local level across our entire user base. We are looking for someone to join our Marketing team that will lead our in-market user meetups, and build out formal plans for a centralized user conference. This critical role will also be responsible creating thought leadership content that will drive attendance and advocacy across the Toast user base. Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute best in class regional meetups, focused on creating amazing content that will attract customers and prospects alike
• Secure industry and community thought leaders to participate in regional events
• Leverage project management skills to coordinate inside and outside of organization to ensure we pull off flawless events
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, Training and Management teams to ensure regional content is relevant and thought-provoking across our entire customer base
• Develop and implement regional customer advisory boards
• Drive customer referrals through regional events and outbound marketing efforts
• Partner with Field Marketing team to exceed customer attendance goals in each region
• Create strategy for implementing large scale user conference in 2019 and beyond
• Build awareness and excitement for 2019 user conference

Requirements:

• BA/BS, MBA a plus
• 5+ year experience in Marketing or Event Planning
• Restaurant or restaurant technology experience preferred
• Skilled written and verbal communicator, with comfort presenting in front of large audience
• Ability to execute amazing events while staying within defined budget
• Data-driven, balancing intuition with measurable results, analyzing and communicating using data
• Ability to work across the organization, heavily influencing priorities across multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
