Social Media Strategist, Facebook

The HubSpot team is looking for a Social Media Strategist to oversee the Facebook publishing video publishing strategy of our social channels. Using data to inform, this position will collaborate with our team including content strategists, social media editors, video editors, and community managers to ensure our Facebook’s overall growth. You will be totally on top of what changes are happening to the platform, enabling us to quickly adapt, experiment and iterate. You will analyze our best performing content and dig into our data to understand and summarize how and why they were successful.

You should be a fast-moving and dynamic self-starter. A naturally organized and detail oriented individual who can create impact from ideation to publishing. You should be growth driven, and have an insatiable passion for social media and the platforms. You have a knack for helping others, and a desire to drive bottom-line growth alongside our team of analysts, strategists, and video editors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and manages the social media calendar, which includes developing/implementing short-term social media strategies
• Develop strategies that are growth driven
• Create programs that leverage earned, owned and paid social
• Lead initiatives through both internal and external collaboration and establish a consultative relationship with stakeholders
• Advisor for new initiatives to help teams throughout the company work with the Social Team
• Manages, measures, and delivers monthly reports with statistics and analytical results for Facebook, as well as discussions with data on a weekly basis
• Participates in team ideation and planning sessions that support strategic initiatives and cultivates social engagement
• Stay up to date on social trends and changes for maximum effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS:

• Social media experience (particularly Facebook) using multiple platforms within a professional or business environment
• Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in paid social advertising
• Experience with Hootsuite a plus!
