The Follain family is seeking a savvy Social Media & Community Manager. Do you know what it takes to grow an online community? Our Social Media & Community Manager will manage our accounts by implementing strategies and tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into customers, and active influencers and promoters of our company. You should have command of best practices, tools and trends in social media marketing, ambassador engagement, and enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Build a community of brand ambassadors and influencers to drive the Follain message. 
  • Management of outside contractors through diligent communication and engagement.
  • Oversee, develop and manage all influencer placements/campaigns including gifting, contract negotiations, reporting and budgeting.
  • Nurture community through continuous dialogue and engagement; actively engage in dialogue with community via social channels.
  • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.
  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.).
  • Work alongside other marketers and content marketers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
  • Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on ROI.
  • Implement our branded social media marketing & community management strategy to engage target audiences.
  • Daily active engagement with our community and followers on instagram + other social channels.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing to maintain and evolve brand guidelines for messaging, tone, style, and quality.
  • Develop and implementing engaging content that helps grow followers, engagement, and conversions.
  • Collect and report social media & brand management KPIs; presenting business updates, including analytics/KPIs, budgets and forecasting.
  • Support other marketing initiatives such as events, sales, press, merchandising collections / product themes across social platforms.
  • Ideate engaging social campaigns that we can use to spread the word about Follain, build our following and drive people to our sites.
  • Stay on top of new social media / platform-related trends & making suggestions where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of Social Media-specific Marketing experience
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms with a focus on Instagram
  • Experience with social media network management tools (Hootsuite, SproutSocial, Planoly)
  • Proactive & strategic
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Passionate about sharing a story that customers want to follow!
  • Basic copywriting & strong proofreading skills
  • iPhone photo editing on VSCO or Afterlight
  • An eye for content curation & strong sense of aesthetics
