We’re looking for a current undergraduate/graduate student or contractor to work with our SEO (search engine optimization) team to help analyze data sets and implement strategies to boost the organic performance of the website.

You are:

  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Microsoft Excel, ClearScope, Microsoft Access, or Ahrefs are all preferred
  • Enthusiastic and energetic
  • Passionate and curious about education technology and a global community
  • Excited about being part of a dynamic team and able to thrive in an ever-evolving, mission-driven organization
  • Interested in pursuing a marketing career path, or growing your skills in marketing
  • A problem solver who is resourceful and creative

What you’ll be working on:

  • Analyzing data patterns using Microsoft Excel. Should be comfortable with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and more
  • Implementing on-page SEO changes including copy updates, title tags, and meta name descriptions through our CMS
  • Adding basic code to the website to create internal links
  • Tracking performance with before and after results to share with the Marketing team
  • Competitive analysis looking for keyword gaps that could be areas of opportunity for edX
  • Running bi-weekly Screaming Frog reports to detect any SEO issues on the site
