Senior Marketing Manager - Hiptest
SmartBear has played a role in the Uber you ordered, the banking app you use, the item you posted for auction, or that flight you just purchased. We are looking for an ambitious new member of our team to help us grow our latest acquisition in the software quality space, HipTest. We are searching for a strong digital marketer who can run an entire product line’s demand generation efforts including PPC, SEO, email marketing and content. Experience in all areas not required, but any candidates looking to apply should aspire to become true full stack digital marketers. In addition to your hands on work driving HipTest trials, you will also be the team lead of at least one other marketer who can assist with all marketing efforts. You will mentor this marketer to eventually take on broader marketing responsibilities within the SmartBear product family.
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword analysis to understand
- Create keyword rich content to maximize SEO optimization.
- Develop compelling multi-channel marketing programs to support the demand generation needs of our highly efficient sales team and ecommerce systems
- Conduct A/B tests to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of all marketing and advertising channels and then inform sales and product teams on the key learnings of each of these tests.
- Create value-driven content to highlight overall product value and feature level value to prospects and customers.
- Measure and analyze weekly dashboards for products and markets to understand where opportunity exists.
- Optimize existing and create new Google Adword campaigns
- Manage all aspects of the marketing budget
- Drive trade show strategy and work with our internal events person to execute the strategy
- Develop and execute an email marketing program
- Cross sell HipTest with other SmartBear products
- Drive customer advocacy
- Conduct data-driven A/B tests using Optimizely in order to learn more about key drivers of conversion leading into and within the trial process.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, and others in order to formulate a complete understanding of user behavior both pre- and post- conversion.
- Deploy email marketing, remarketing, and other channels to the installed base of customers to increase revenue
- Mentor and lead other marketers assigned to the HipTest team
Requirements
- Previous experience: 2-4 years experience growing a SAAS business
- Solid knowledge of various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google AdWords), re-targeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more), content distribution, and placement networks.
- Solid understanding of content marketing.
- Experience using Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics a plus.
- Bachelors degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High energy and a positive attitude.

- Authorized to work in the United States (minimum of H1B)
