Responibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of grower facing products and offers
  • Manage cross-functional teams and engage with key commercial stakeholders, including spending time in the field during the selling season to gain customer insights
  • Develop regional grower segmentation for relevant crops to inform focused targeting
  • Become the internal champion for current offers, effectively communicating across key stakeholders within the organization
  • Build a marketing and sales process and implement systems to collect and capture required data and inputs
  • Work with commercial marketing and training teams to help guide and develop content for messaging and commercial training
  • Develop annual goals and targets within the relevant crop and product, based on market attractiveness and company goals for margins and grower

Competencies

  • Able to own and deliver against strategic initiatives and objectives
  • Self-starter and ability to work with little guidance
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to requirements to complete projects
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and financial modeling skills/experience
  • Strong communication, story building, and presentation skills
  • Strong interest in Indigo’s mission and helping company to execute to achieve goals
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skill sets
  • Willing to travel and work long hours
  • Able to manage ambiguity and work on multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Highly organized and able to multitask

Qualifications

  • Five plus years of work experience
  • Banking, private equity, consulting and/or strategy/business development experience
  • Agriculture experience not necessary
  • Experience managing others, able to do so in a respectful and productive manner that helps develop others
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a positive and team- oriented way whether as a project lead or as a contributor

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
