We are looking to hire a talented Retention Marketing Manager to drive dramatic revenue growth and repeat rate of Lovepop’s current core businesses in one-to-one consumer gifting and establish Lovepop as a household consumer brand. This role will involve managing Lovepop’s retention programs, messaging, developing and executing the retention strategy with buy-in from other functions including product, design, sales, retail, and operations.

What you'll do here:

  • Develop and build a set of programs to create a Lovepop community that is inspired to include Lovepop in their magical moments
  • Experiment with multi-channel approaches to engage customers and improve the lifetime value
  • Utilize test programs and A/B testing to use data to support investment level in new and existing programs
  • Use customer behavior, insights and prior campaign results to develop contact strategies/plans to achieve financial targets and optimize customer lifetime value
  • Collaborate with product team to develop optimal customer experience
  • Lead development blog and content strategies for customers, working closely with our internal and external creative team and key stakeholders to bring concepts to life
  • Develop requirements to assess marketing automation platforms and implement into existing systems
  • Build and constantly improve Lovepop’s email marketing/newsletter strategy, including testing, measurement and optimization of sequencing, frequency, and content to drive performance across campaigns and consumer segments
  • Utilize creative tactics and innovation to engage and delight the Lovepop community
  • Build out new programs to drive LTV such as referral programs, subscription services, text message reminders or direct mail

What you'll bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in marketing, finance, business or other related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing & retention experience (direct to consumer preferred)
  • Experience creating campaigns within MailChimp and ESP migrations
  • Experience creating segmented mailings, hold-out groups, implementing referral or subscription programs preferred
  • Proven ability to test and execute tactical results-based marketing campaigns
  • Proficient in Excel and the ability to learn new computer skills quickly like SQL

  • Managing to revenue and retention (LTV) goals
