As our Public Relations Manager, you will have a direct impact on our business. You will lead our media strategy to increase brand awareness in the marketplace, and also manage our SEO. We are looking for a smart, passionate individual who is a fantastic communicator, can craft compelling stories about our brand, and loves to dive into data.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the direction & execution of our public relations strategy
- Pitch the press and build relationships with key media contacts
- Secure press coverage, increase our share of voice, and drive market awareness
- Understand our SEO position, conduct keyword research & articulate a strategy
- Execute SEO tactics (write optimized content, initiate link-building activities) and monitor results
- Monitor and maintain brand reputation on review platforms & social media
- Manage company social media accounts & content
- Manage day-to-day communications with key partners
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in public/media relations at an agency or in-house
- Proven ability to pitch media outlets and secure press coverage
- Strong writing skills and ability to tell a compelling story about our brand
- Basic understanding of SEO measurement, strategy, content writing & execution preferred
- Extreme attention to detail
- Impeccable communication and organizational skills, self-driven, and independent
- Enthusiasm and passion, with readiness to join a small, fast-paced company
