As a Product Marketing Manager you will gain insights that enable you to contribute to our go-to-market strategy and translate product capabilities into customer facing marketing collateral as well as internal sales enablement and training. You will be knowledgeable in buyer personas (how they buy and their buying criteria) and competitive analysis and will transfer that understanding into compelling positioning and messaging. Attention to detail and the ability to translate technical capabilities into customer benefits is essential.

Day to Day:

  • Support the market launch of new products and releases and the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Create market-facing whitepapers, presentations, videos, and blog posts etc., to communicate the differentiated value of our products and managed services 
  • Assist in developing and maintaining customer personas and value propositions
  • Educate both internal and external stakeholders about our product features and their benefits
  • Create and deliver sales enablement material to educate Sellers and partners on how to best to position features and benefits
  • Engage with Product Management to understand and influence the product roadmap, feature gaps, and customer requests
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and users to develop a thorough understanding of the market and our competitive positioning
  • Conduct competitive analysis and ongoing market tracking activities in order to develop product messaging and sales-enablement 
  • Partner with the Comms and Social teams to help educate press, analysts, customers and prospects on our unique value 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and webinars 

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • 4+ years product marketing, product management, tech sales or applicable experience
  • Exceptional communications skills, particularly with writing and story-telling 
  • Experience with marketing technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, and/or cloud computing is a preferred
  • Adept at working collaboratively and building strong cross-functional relationships 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences, internal and external
  • Certification from Pragmatic Marketing or other established product marketing course
  • BA/BS required
