Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager, Music Production Subscriptions will contribute to strategy and lead execution of product marketing in iZotope’s subscription music production software business. The successful candidate will be an experienced subscription marketer and future leader. They will interact with product management/development, operations/systems, financial planning, and the broader go-to-market organization to define and lead product marketing activities to drive key subscriber results. This role mixes empathy for subscribers’ unmet needs, ability to attract and convert them, and experience marketing in a subscription software business with creative tools.

 

This cross-disciplinary role is ideal for a mid-career professional with executive ambition, a creative-tools background, and desire to work at a highly collaborative company pursuing explosive growth. Experience with creative-tools software in a subscription business model is highly desirable.

You Will:

  • Identify growth opportunities, define target markets/segments, manage pricing, and track impact on business growth
  • Devise positioning that underlies creation of compelling messaging that speaks to target audiences
  • Lead flywheel strategies, activating product, pricing, promotional, and channel initiatives to acquire new subscribers and retain existing subscribers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to market new products and features, as well as sustaining marketing for in-market solutions
  • Leverage relationships with technology, content, and channel partners to drive value for subscribers, and acquire new subscribers
  • Evangelize products by speaking at industry events, presenting on webinars, developing collateral, and writing blog posts to increase leads and awareness. 
  • Deliver briefings and build relationships with key influencers
  • Research competitor strengths and weaknesses to inform solution roadmaps and provide effective positioning throughout GTM
  • Create engaging copy and team with outside sources to produce an engaging experience that increases lead conversion

You Have:

  • Held a product marketing, subscription sales, product management, or business development role in a creative-tools software business in the last two years
  • Worked on a subscription business model in the last two years
  • Knowledge of Agile values and principles; experience with Agile marketing a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, proven ability to influence others
  • Capability of managing multiple responsibilities; project management experience a plus
  • Comfort in high-profile scenarios with customers, partners, and executives
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, prioritize tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees
  • Proven ability to take ownership for product and solution areas, outline tactics for attacking the market, and execute with strong attention to detail
  • Action orientation with great follow-through on commitments
  • Personal passion for music and media (music, film, tv, podcast)
