Partner Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a marketing specialist passionate about restaurant technology who’s excited about a role that combines both technical and creative activities. Toast currently maintains a portfolio of 40+ (and growing!) integration partners whose products complement our core POS. Our ideal candidate will be excited to learn the value proposition of each partner, understand how it enhances Toast’s offering, and translate those findings into content for multiple audiences both internal and external. In addition to a skilled content creator we are also seeking an individual who enjoys diagnosing inefficiencies and improving processes. Someone who gets excited about designing and automating workflows will thrive in this position.
This position requires coordination across multiple departments at Toast as well as numerous external stakeholders. As such we’re looking for candidates for whom collaboration comes as second nature and who never backs down from a creative or logistical challenge. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain content library articulating offerings of each of Toast’s integration partners.
- Synthesize large volumes of (often technical) information and re-package into clear, compelling content.
- Use content library to generate and publish resources and assets (such as one-pagers, summaries, blog posts, website copy and more) for a variety of audiences including current and prospective customers, the Toast sales team, and other internal stakeholders.
- Support Partner Co-Marketing Manager in implementing Toast’s Partner Program and in designing, tracking, and fulfilling promotional offerings with partners.
- Leverage a research and testing-driven approach to content and process creation. Using metrics to back-up your suggestions and decisions is a huge plus.
- Juggle multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders while creating high-quality work on time and on budget.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of work experience with emphasis on writing, content creation, process design, and data analysis.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Data-minded, analytic thinker required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
- Design chops (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) are a plus.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and technology a plus.
