Marketing Operations Specialist
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Operations Specialist to join our Revenue Operations team to help drive business growth and will play an integral role in email marketing, customer/prospect outreach activities, working cross functionally on data management initiatives and supporting the technical components of our user conference. Supporting our internal teams, you’ll develop and code emails and landing pages with a keen eye on bringing our creative designs to life. You will be one of the company’s marketing technology “Super Users”, maintaining, evolving and driving best practices. This position requires someone who is a stickler for details, can execute on a deadline, and has impeccable project management skills.
SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create, manage, Q&A, and execute marketing campaigns. Coordinate elements from both internal and external teams to execute on deliverables for marketing campaigns and projects
Support the Field Marketing & Events Manager on the user conference by fully managing the conference app, assist with email communication and the production of conference materials.
Create and execute emails, website landing pages and forms in our Marketing Automation platform (Marketo) using HTML and CSS
Manage lead lists and lead a data management initiative for the organization
Assist marketers in making data driven decisions using reporting and analytics to improve and report on campaign performance
Create data segmentation filters, groups, and distribution lists for campaigns, lead scoring, and nurture programs for prospect segmentations that will minimize lead fatigue and opt-outs
Ensure the website is up to date with the latest events, user conference details, blog posts and more.
Administration and support of the martech stack.
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years of marketing or marketing systems experience, ideally at a software company.
Attentive to the execution of details, and nothing ever slips through the cracks.
Extremely strong writing and communication skills.
Experience with Marketo
Experience with Wordpress, CVENT/Bizzabo, and Salesforce.com is a plus.
Undergraduate degree required.
Must be a team player and also work independently and prioritize.
Positive attitude and energy
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Proficient or progressing skill in HTML and CSS
Keen eye for upholding brand standards across various platforms.
Strong understanding of marketing processes including campaign execution, Q&A testing, and conversion measurement
Creative problem-solving skills – organized, agile, and focused on results
Ability to work independently as a self-starter
