Follain is seeking a results-oriented, self-motivated and highly collaborative Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategy, support and execution of our digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels including social (paid and organic), search (paid and organic), SEO, and affiliate to help efficiently acquire new customers and scale growth. 

Our team is very lean, and this is truly a hands-on role that requires top to bottom strategy and execution. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our campaigns across multiple channels, managing the Marketing budget, and for managing our external agency partners. This position reports to the Director of Digital Strategy and will collaborate very closely with our Content Marketing, Creative, Owned Brands, Merchandising and Retail teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role is responsible for development, execution, performance and success of Follain’s marketing campaigns across social (paid and organic), search (paid and organic), SEO, email, affiliate, and influencer/blogger channels.
  • Understand, develop and execute full funnel marketing strategies across all channels
  • Key stakeholder for social media content and Community Management 
  • Manage relationship with agencies (Performance Marketing & Affiliate) to execute customer acquisition marketing strategy, optimize channels and drive performance to exceed results
  • Manage email program (concept, brief, creative tickets, and analysis) 
  • Implement rigorous testing programs across media channels that include A|B testing of both creative and audiences
  • SEO optimization
  • Report weekly and monthly on progress against goals and KPIs. Provide recommendations and optimizations to improve channel performance.
  • Meticulously execute both day-to-day activities of all channels as well as strategic planning and management
  • Report to C-suite on weekly performance and execute recommendations to exceed revenue goals
  • Manage communications with internal teams, external vendors and agency partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant, digital marketing experience in a highly analytical role, ideally for an early to mid-stage start-up
  • Diverse multi-channel background with specialization in email marketing, paid search and paid social
  • Willingness to become an expert in additional marketing channels such as paid influencers and affiliate
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing KPIs including CPA, ROAS and CAC
  • Familiarity with attribution models and means of tracking performance
  • Ability to tackle several projects simultaneously and work well within a fast-paced and growing organization
  • Comfortable in a data-driven business environment and able to react to real-time data and change direction quickly to adjust to the businesses needs
  • Strong ability to manage a budget
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Excel required. Experience using Shopify and Looker a plus.
  • Experience working with or in an agency environment
  • Attention to detail with a creative eye
