Marketing Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic marketer to work closely with Sr. Director of Marketing and the Marketing team. The ideal candidate is a dependable, execution-focused contributor who loves to roll up his/her sleeves and “make it happen” in a fast-paced environment. The Marketing Manager will help execute plans within Rightpoint's marketing strategy in order to amplify Rightpoint’s brand awareness, go-to-market position, and consideration among key target audiences to generate MQLs. This position will collaborate with Rightpoint’s marketing, creative & strategy, and business development teams as well as key leadership across the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Sr Director of Marketing, to establish and execute go-to-market strategy related to campaigns and lead generation activities, including events, webinars, and service offering development.
  • Create and execute cross-channel deliverables related to marketing campaign planning and launches.
  • Manage Rightpoint website (including the blog), working with the development team, including content creation, functionality enhancements, and strategic site recommendations to fuel lead generation and convert visitors to leads. Owns content updates to Rightpoint.com.
  • Manage PPC and SEO programs to drive MQLs through the web and increase conversion rate.
  • Conceptualize marketing content and manage creation of collateral and digital media sources (emails, blogs, public facing website) to align with key initiatives. Manage the editorial calendar.
  • Track, monitor and report on campaign ROI to maximize marketing efforts 
  • Implement social media strategy and manage social media platforms daily based on content calendar to align with business goals and achieve growth goals.
  • Support PR program including awards and speaking programs.
  • Manage email marketing calendar and coordinate with needed parties to gather all assets necessary to build and execute emails to promote events, webinars and other activities.
  • Manage the Pardot instance (lists, segmentation, email marketing, drip campaigns)
  • Develop, launch and manage email drip campaigns, identifying content needs to keep engagement high and move leads through the pipeline
  • Research tradeshows, events, and promotional/sponsorship opportunities which support the company’s strategic direction and provide necessary recommendations. Manage event logistics.
  • Manage the Marketing Hub, keeping content up to date by collaborating with business development, solution leads and others to manage robust database of materials and support internal use.
  • Prepare and send regular internal marketing communication and analytics-driven reports by gathering information from internal parties.
  • Keep promotional materials ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. Liaise with creative team to coordinate development of collateral. Manage bi-yearly review of marketing content to identify relevancy and business need for new content including managing the process to update or archive material.
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests as needed.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B marketing with a growth-stage company. The successful candidate must bring intellectual knowledge, professional experiences and personal characteristics that complement the team.  
  • Must demonstrate industry and market knowledge to carry out strategic plans; execute, manage and measure marketing campaign success. Their solutions will encompass all forms of digital media and channels, including website, email, events, and analytics and social media.
  • 1-2 year’s experience managing a B2B social media presence with proven results in follower growth and engagement. Experience crafting messaging across wide range of media.
  • Experience in managing marketing technologies (Salesforce and a marketing automatigon tools such as Pardot) and IT tracking tools (Jira)
  • Experience in managing a B2B website to drive lead generation and improve conversion.
  • Event management experience including both planning and execution a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and project management skills – ability to own and drive multiple projects at the same time from start to finish.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced organization.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees as well as external partners, vendors and clients.
  • Strong business writing and editing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
