Wayfair is looking for a self-starting, creative problem solver with a strong analytical aptitude to join our Display and Social Prospecting Marketing team. This team is responsible for the advertising programs run on Display (e.g., nytimes.com), Native (e.g., Sponsored content) and Social platforms (e.g., Facebook) searching out new customers.

Qualified candidates will likely have 3 – 5 years of experience and should be highly analytical while also being able to define a strategy and understand how to execute against the plan. S/he should be adept at managing directly and indirectly, both internally and with key vendor partners. Candidates will need to be just as comfortable working with Engineers to implement pixel updates as with Creative Producers to build new mobile video ads.

Key Responsibilities:                                                           

  • Own and optimize multimillion dollar marketing budget to meet ROI goals
  • Closely monitor campaign performance daily and react to deviations from plan quickly
  • Leverage Excel and SQL to build reports and conduct analyses
  • Partner with creative teams to define campaign goals, select imagery, and define value proposition
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure our ads are running properly and customers have a great experience on site
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with external partners and vendors
  • Idenitify and take action to improve internal processes and tools related to campaign management
  • Develop talent within the organization, mentoring/developing direct reports and colleagues

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree, with strong academic record (a plus if in an analytical major)
  • 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in a highly analytical role
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a creative eye
  • Exceptional quantitative skills and proficiency performing analysis in Excel (experience with SQL is a plus)
  • Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
  • Bias towards action and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Capacity to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced organization
