ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join our Growth/Digital Marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for the success of Benchling’s entire paid acquisition advertising program. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to build and grow a world class digital program to drive top-of-funnel awareness, down-funnel opportunity, and pipeline growth.
YOUR IMPACT
- Lead the entire B2B paid acquisition program for Benchling globally including paid search, paid media, display, and referral sites
- Hands-on management of an array of paid channels such as Google (AdWords, DV360), Meta (FB app, Instagram), LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit and more
- Use data to inform a highly targeted acquisition approach
- Implement account-based marketing strategies, using intent data to craft personalized ads
- Develop clear measurement plans and optimization strategies to meet/exceed critical metrics and increase pipeline
- Build and share out reports to senior leadership on program performance
- Implement programmatic / real time bidding
- A/B testing and optimization on all channels
- Execute all campaigns in-house and/or by working with 3rd-party vendors
- Must be comfortable handling a six figure budget and requesting funds from senior leadership with a data-backed, business justification
- Partner with distributed team members to prioritize campaigns.
About You
Must haves:
- 5+ years of proven experience and shown success in digital marketing with a focus on hands-on paid acquisition and ABM strategies
- 1+ year of programmatic experience
- Proven understanding of SEM, Google AdWords, Bing, Google Analytics, LinkedIn and Facebook advertising, retargeting
- A/B and multivariate testing knowledge with understanding of confidence intervals
- Deep understanding of digital marketing metrics and analytics
- Strong numbers orientation with a curiosity about experimentation and constant improvement of marketing campaigns
- Self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to run multiple projects
Nice to haves:
- Experience working with and handling paid media agencies
- Experience in B2B enterprise software at a scaleup brand
- Experience with 6Sense or other Account Engagement Platform
- BA or BS in Biology, life sciences, or related field
