Constant Contact is searching for an experienced Customer Marketer to create campaigns that move CTCT customers through the product journey, help them succeed in using our email marketing product, and drive our business metrics. This role will have an initial primary focus on onboarding new accounts - driving their success with their first product engagement, as well as creating paths to paid conversion and/or upgrade to higher package offerings. Our customer marketing channels are primarily digital, so this individual must bring expertise in designing cross-channel experiences that span different digital media. The CLM Marketing Manager will work closely with other cross-functional partners including BI and analytics, the website/conversion team, marketing operations, creative services, product marketing, and product management.

Our CLM Marketing Manager will:

  • Leverage data to understand our customers and what makes them successful; develop marketing strategies that ensures their success throughout the lifecycle
  • Plan, execute and measure integrated, cross-channel campaigns to customers, including emails, in-product messages, web-based messages and/or retargeting
  • Monitor and quickly respond to funnel KPIs and trends such as email publish rates, contact growth, conversion/upgrade rates, retention and LTV
  • Partner effectively with the Conversion Marketer to understand full-funnel journey and treatment strategy for unique segments, and develop campaign plans from these inputs
  • Work closely with Creative Services and Marketing Operations to design brand-aligned, effective campaign assets and successfully implement highly targeted and/or triggered campaigns across different marketing systems
  • Design and manage well-structured tests, and ensure that past learning is leveraged to continuously optimize campaign performance

Requirements:

  • A college degree, preferably in Marketing
  • 5+ years’ experience in related roles, preferably in database or customer marketing/CLM
  • A great collaborator and cross functional partner, with demonstrated ability to influence
  • Experience with enterprise Marketing Automation platforms, CRM, personalization platforms and/or web-based testing tools
  • Knowledgeable in best practices for targeted email and in-product campaigns
  • Balanced mix of left and right brain, with ability to evaluate the qualitative customer experience and quantitatively assess customer metrics
  • Creative thinker able to come up with innovative new ideas
  • Strong analytical orientation; able to interpret data and find insights
  • Great time management skills and fanatical attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a dynamic start-up style environment with rapid testing cycles a plus
