Marketing Content Specialist

About You:
- You are a storyteller that has experience creating compelling long-form, short-form, social media, multimedia, webinar, and event content.
- You enjoy translating technical subject matter into customer-facing content (technical background a plus).
- You have experience analyzing data and using metrics and research to plan and create content that drives content ROI.
- You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to build highly engaging content.
- You deeply understand personas, the marketing funnel, and the buyer’s journey to support demand generation and account-based marketing campaigns.
What skills do I need?
- 2+ years of relevant experience in writing, content marketing, social media marketing, communications, and working in B2B technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complicated concepts clearly and concisely.
- A quick learner able to understand the manufacturing industry (prior industry knowledge is desirable but not required).
- Self-starter, highly collaborative, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial team player ready to move fast, learn from mistakes, and help build the next big thing in manufacturing.
- Ability to track, report, and analyze KPIs to drive content strategy.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with product marketing, campaign/demand generation, and event teams.
- B2B marketing content development or agency experience a plus.
- Experience working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to co-develop long- and short-form content.
- Experience analyzing data to tell compelling stories via different content channels.
Key Responsibilities: (Plan, research, create, collaborate, measure)
- Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and management of Tulip editorial content, including blog posts, social media posts, PR, webinar materials, event materials, and other high-value content.
- Manage Tulip’s LinkedIn and Twitter accounts: Produce posts for relevant events, launches, and campaigns. Engage with media mentions. Develop and publish new media (i.e., short videos, graphics) to drive engagement on our channels. And report on performance on a monthly basis.
- Work with executives and SMEs on thought leadership content for articles, webinars, and social media — and create social media guidelines for large and specialty events to be shared internally and externally.
- Write short-form and long-form content on news and trends in the manufacturing and industrial tech industry.
- Support and contribute to ongoing analysis of editorial and social media performance (clicks, views, etc.) — and report on earned media targets, including company and brand awareness goals, through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Support the creation of conference presentations with customers and thought leaders to generate interest among prospects.
- Outline, storyboard, and design webinar decks with SMEs for webinars (and create landing pages, follow-up content, and social promotions when relevant).
- Assess customer data to identify opportunities for telling compelling customer stories via blogs, social posts, and other channels.
