About The Position

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and results-driven marketing professional, who possesses a diverse marketing background and skill set with experience supporting a content driven demand generation engine

The Marketing Campaign Manager position will be responsible for the overall strategy, development, and execution of global new-business marketing campaigns. By collaborating with key stakeholders to understand the corporate goals, quarterly marketing themes, and content strategy, you will be responsible for developing the campaign strategy and building the necessary components to generate pipeline to land, nurture, close new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the annual and quarterly campaign plan, define the strategy, refine the messaging based on target audiences, and outline the programs required to obtain the goals and drive the business forward.

  • Develop end-to-end campaigns and programs from ideation to execution to tracking results.

  • Work within the Digital Marketing group, collaborate with content and creative channels to develop campaign targets and deliverables.

  • Create campaign promotion content, such as copywriting for landing pages, email promotions, banner ads, etc.

  • Author and adapt persona-specific content for high impact demand generation campaigns.

  • Lead the growth of a variety of channels including email campaigns, nurture, webinars, content syndication and more.

  • Working in tandem with our business operations and marketing operations teams, maniacally analyze campaign results in detail, draw insights, and make data-based adjustments to improve performance and key learnings.

  • Collaborate with marketing leaders to ensure global alignment of campaign strategy, plan, and execution continuity across all in-market campaigns

  • Align with the corporate communications and social marketing teams to time campaigns appropriately for a stronger go to market launch

  • Align metrics and results tied to agreed pipeline creation goals between sales and marketing

  • Communicate campaign strategies, best practices, and testing results with the marketing team

  • Coordinate with VMware to leverage their broad global reach where and when it makes sense to enhance campaign performance

  • Coordinate with sales leadership to ensure a seamless hand-off process of marketing qualified leads to sales development representatives

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive demand gen campaign experience and/or marketing program management experience

  • Experience building globally integrated marketing campaigns for a B2B technology company

  • Experience writing and/or developing product and industry marketing programs and/or co-marketing programs with technology alliance partners is a plus

  • Candidate must have outstanding communication skills and be able to work as part of a team

  • Candidate must have a successful track record of executing programs with cross-functional virtual teams

  • High energy self-starter with a can-do attitude, and ability to learn quickly and work in a hyper-growth environment, while setting the strategy and getting down in the weeds to get the job done

  • Ability to write promotional content and collaborate with internal stakeholders on the content mix strategy to support the campaign

  • Extensive hands-on experience with marketing automation and program collaboration tools: SFDC, Marketo, G-Suite, Asana, etc.

  • Knowledgeable in technology markets, and experience in cloud computing and virtualization software and services a HUGE plus but not required
