International SEO Manager (Individual Contributor), SEO Team

HubSpot’s looking for someone who has had the experience of scaling organic traffic growth through a global SEO mindset.

We expect the International SEO Manager to be knowledgeable about the various pros and cons of different URL structures for international SEO, has experienced the consequences of proper and improper markup, and can use that experience and authority to lead our international marketing teams to grow better.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with HubSpot’s SEO content strategist, international marketers, and localization team to identify emerging and existing content gaps, align with content creators on a strategy and digital assets needed, and execute an seo-driven editorial calendar that will, at a minimum, double organic traffic.
  • Help HubSpot’s international content creators stay abreast of new and evolving Google search features (People Also Asked, Google News, Knowledge Carousels, and paid search features) and translating them into actional organic traffic growth tactics.
  • Run SEO experiments to create HubSpot-specific best practices and creating standardized solutions based on test results.
  • Be a subject matter expert on International SEO that the rest of the HubSpot organization can lean into for consultation, not limited to HubSpot Academy, HubSpot Product, HubSpot Research, HubSpot Sales, and HubSpot Support.
  • Own the organic traffic growth of HubSpot’s ccTLD’s and reporting on it.

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Proven track record of scaling organic traffic for multiple web properties from different languages and countries.
  • Superb communication (verbal and written) skills – knows how to work with other teams, set shared goals, communicate the overall strategy, and execute.
  • A data-driven mindset is a must. We are looking for someone which segments growth by causes and can effectively communicate an action plan to increase organic traffic.
  • Proficiency on like software and SaaS from the following list: HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, Google Tag Manager and Botify.
  • Knowledgeable on coding languages and protocols that impact SEO for better or worse (e.g. html, css, javascript)
  • Prior experience in a B2B niche, being fluent in a second language, and/or Inbound Certifications a plus.
