What do Apple, Google, Salesforce, Facebook, and Slack all have in common? Besides being hugely successful technology companies, they’re also platform companies -- each with a diverse ecosystem of integration partners, developers and technologies built upon their software. These ecosystems provide each platform company with a competitive advantage in its market. HubSpot aims to become the inbound marketing, sales and service platform company -- and we’re looking for a marketer to join our Platform Marketing team and be a driving force behind the success of HubSpot as a platform company.

But get excited -- this is so much more than a marketing role. As a key member of the HubSpot Platform Marketing Team, you’ll work cross-functionally across global teams (Business Development, Product, Services, Sales and Marketing) to:

  • Help design, publish and promote platform-specific content campaigns to help support our company-wide mission of driving integration installs across our user base.
  • Build internal enablement programs to help educate sales, services and marketing on platform, evangelize our vision, and prove out how it can help them achieve their own team-wide goals.
  • Build the foundation of our platform Partner community by assisting with HubSpot’s bi-annual Partner Day events.

Skills and characteristics we’re looking for:

  • Content-Savvy: You know what remarkable content looks like, how to create it and how to get buy-in from stakeholders to help promote it.
  • Collaborative: You enjoy working cross-functionally with other teams, external partners and peers to reach mutual goals.
  • Tech Curiosity: You’re passionate about new SaaS tech solutions and the opportunity to learn about and evangelize them gets you amped up.
  • Analytical: You don’t need to be an Excel wizard, but should have a general understanding (and appreciation) of a spreadsheet and the drive to learn more.
  • Organized and Prioritized: You’re comfortable managing projects of varying scope and complexity that require excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Gear Shifter: You’re comfortable shifting between types of work throughout the day and this need for agility is exciting to you. In a given day you may analyze a report, collaborate with an integration partner, and present to the sales team -- all while iterating and improving processes along the way.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Build, publish and promote in-depth content, specific to individual integrations and categories of integrations to help facilitate platform discovery, learning and adoption amongst HubSpot’s user base (e.g. use cases, walkthroughs, case studies, etc.) .
  • Design, deploy and track a comprehensive, ongoing promotion plan to amplify platform content and get it in front of more of the target audience.
  • Work with the Product Insight and Ops teams to determine an attribution strategy for integration platform installs as a result of content consumption.
  • Drive advocacy for HubSpot Connect by building an ongoing internal enablement program -- distributing integration-specific content to our internal, customer-facing teams (i.e. services/sales) and educating them on our platform vision and philosophies.

HubSpot helps millions of organizations grow better, and we’d love to grow better with you. Our business builds the software and systems that power the world’s small to medium-sized businesses. Our company culture builds connections, careers, and employee growth. How? By creating a workplace that values flexibility, autonomy, and transparency. If that sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’d love to hear from you.

You can find out more about our company culture in the HubSpot Culture Code, which has more than 3M views, and learn about our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, too. Thanks to the work of every HubSpotter globally who has helped build our remarkable culture, HubSpot has been named a top workplace by Glassdoor, Fortune, Entrepreneur, and more.

HubSpot was founded in 2006. We’re headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and we have offices in New Hampshire, Dublin (Ireland), Sydney (Australia), Singapore, Tokyo (Japan), Berlin (Germany), and Bogotá (Colombia).
