Director of Demand Generation

We’re looking for a [VP or Sr. Director] of Demand Generation who will be responsible for the strategy and oversight of global marketing campaigns and regional marketing activity that fuels the sales pipeline with new customers and generates additional growth with our customer base. In this role you will oversee a team of people who run demand generation campaigns, nurturing strategy, website operations and digital marketing, and our global field/virtual event programs that enable our direct sales team, our customer account managers, and our channel partners. This role also oversees the Marketing Operations team who is responsible for the tech stack, measurement, reporting, and budget tracking. 


Reporting to the CMO you will work closely with the Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales departments to achieve our aligned, corporate objectives. Your responsibilities will include: 


  • Managing four teams: global campaigns, marketing operations, regional marketing, and website. 
  • Drive campaign strategy by working with marketing and sales leadership on plans, processes, target audiences, and booking’s objectives by channel 
  • Lead our account based marketing activities targeted at our key vertical segments leveraging our use cases and product SMEs that deliver value and repeat engagement
  • Monitor all performance metrics and lead metric-based optimizations to iterate and enhance all campaigns and activities
  • Establish strategy, tactics and reporting that will drive sales pipeline for direct, customer, and partner channel
  • Drive the strategy, execution, and optimization of multi-channel digital marketing programs to expand our marketing engagement, including virtual events, digital lead capture and nurturing, direct mail and digital ABM tactics
  • Leverage digital marketing best practices to ensure organic search results and brand advertising have a positive impact on target account engagement and lead generation
  • Through marketing operations, optimize the tech stack and develop detailed reporting for campaign owners as well as for the CMO for Executive Team and Board meetings
  • Partner closely with the three Sales leaders - direct, customer, and partner channel - to create marketing programs and drive results
  • Work closely with Marketing peers to align with Brand awareness and Content creation that supports demand generation campaigns
  • Manage the Marketing department overall budget through working with budget owners and Finance teams each month


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience creating, executing, and leading demand generation in the B2B industry
  • A data driven mindset and solid track record of analyzing and reporting on all KPI data
  • A strong marketing strategy track record including sales opportunity assessment, attribution, and course correction
  • CRM/marketing automation background, preferably Salesforce and Eloqua
  • Strategic, creative, and analytical skills to build effective marketing campaigns that have a measurable impact on our pipeline
  • A demonstrated track record of working with cross-functional teams to achieve booking and retention goals
