The Role:

The Growth Marketing Operations Associate role will be responsible for the operations, management, and internal communications for Thrasio’s rapidly expanding Affiliate Partner network. You will be responsible for managing the operations of partner’s product feeds, invoicing, and the various publisher networks with the goal of enabling our Account Management team to secure more placements for Thrasio’s products. This role will partner with departments across the business to manage the workflow of publisher onboarding, maintenance, and growth in the most streamlined way possible.


Reporting to the Senior Manager of Growth Marketing Operations, you will be a dynamic, proactive team player who can help us effectively manage the workflows in place as well as continue to innovate and fine tune our processes to give strategic advantages to our partners. You will be expected to develop a basic understanding of Thrasio’s product offerings to the marketplace, build and manage product catalogs for partners, manage the invoicing, payables, and reporting processes in partnership with the Finance team, and be prepared to take on new projects as new opportunities arise. You also will ensure the transfer of this knowledge to future internal team hires, as well as collaborate with other associates and coordinators in our function to craft a playbook of how we operate the Growth Marketing team’s Affiliate Partner network.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete internal requests for partner-related operations such as invoicing, product requests, affiliate promotions, reporting, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison between the growth team and other internal departments, such as Marketing & Brand Operations
  • Partner with business development and account managers on new initiatives
  • Support internal communications for affiliate marketing with key stakeholders, work with SP&A to clearly communicate and verify performance metrics
  • Partner with business development to lead the effort on aggregating materials, information and offering opportunities from brand management and product launch
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials for the affiliate program prospects & partners 
  • Maintain relationships with the Thrasio Product Launch team and other internal teams to ensure we are up to date with their relevant launches and securing placements for their products with our Partners
  • Manage and update the workflows and processes related to the Partnership team’s CRM System
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Thrasio’s place in the market, our offerings, and competitive positioning
  • Develop a deep understanding of an Affiliate Partner’s needs so as to best craft our department's operations to cater to the needs/wants of the partner(s) with the goal of optimizing to secure the most (and best) placements in a scalable way
  • Manage multiple projects from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, seeking counsel, and ensuring deadline adherence

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 1+ years of digital experience, ideally within the affiliate marketing ecosystem
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders such as Brand Ops, Creative, Traffic, Marketing, Legal, Product Launch and Finance at all levels of an organization
  • Experience in building initiatives from scratch to completeness within a large, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in CRM Systems is a plus
  • Proficient to Advanced level of knowledge in Excel/Google Sheets is recommended
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Intellectually curious, driven to keep up with market trends, and motivated to uncover competitive advantage
  • Interpersonal skills that will help develop and build strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders in an effort to collaborate and drive results for the marketing and sales organizations
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment
