Growth Marketing Manager, Customer Marketing

HubSpot is hiring for someone to join our Customer Marketing team and focus on Growth Marketing. In this role you would focus on owning our customer and user review strategy (think App Store reviews, G2 Crowd and more), as well as running customer marketing campaigns that enable us to leverage the existing install base as a growth engine and drive cross-sell and upsell revenue.

Our install base represents a huge opportunity in terms of customer revenue and customer retention. We need a sharp, data-driven growth marketer who’s comfortable working across channels to help us drive install base revenue.

A key piece of activating our install base is 3rd party reviews. Buyers place a large emphasis on referrals, testimonials and reviews. They can also affect a company’s brand and reputation, the cross-adoption or happiness of an individual customer or user, and can seriously impact our acquisition strategy. Review sites are pretty siloed, and can need different strategies at different times. We’re looking for someone to come in and own this space, helping us ensure that we generate the right quantity of reviews on the right site, that we build a scalable response strategy and that we also leverage all the goodwill that happens on review sites in the right way.

We are looking for a strong leader who can implement change, bring new ideas to the table, and quickly establish rapport with the product team.

This role is for somebody with experience in the following areas:

  • Works cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and services to create and execute on growth projects.
  • Creates content for email onboarding, nurturing, and landing pages to monetize a group of users
  • Uses data to understand products in depth, create ideas for experimentation, and execute projects to drive activation, retention, engagement, and revenue
  • Collaborate with product managers, tech leads, and product designers to research, brainstorm experiment ideas, run experiments, and report on findings.
  • Comfortable with presenting new ideas at team meetings and cross-functional meetings
  • Passionate for technology, a fast-paced environment, and constant change
  • Bonus points for experience in design, Looker, Amplitude, SQL, and HubSpot (but not required)
