The Grain Marketer will play a key role in helping Indigo to meet revenue and gross profit targets as they relate to grain purchases and sales. This is an exciting opportunity that will work cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders, provide strategic direction, and help to ensure a positive experience for Indigo growers and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Own and direct selling Indigo’s grain inventories to achieve established revenue targets
- Set and execute processes for pricing Indigo Certified Crops to achieve gross profit targets
- Partner with Indigo’s Buyer team to effectively map grain supply with demand
- Work with grower facing commercial teams to understand future supply
- Learn all aspects of current offers and strategic initiatives
- Ensure alignment with Grower Customer Service metrics around customer satisfaction
- Partner with Data Science teams to develop and improve the tools and reporting needed to effectively manage your region
- Work with Commodity Market Price Economics team to stay in tune with market developments and make informed recommendations for grain sale pricing and timing

Qualifications:
- 5+ years professional experience
- MBA or MBA type
- Interest in Agriculture
- Trading or Merchandising experience a plus
- Quantitative background
- Physical grain experience a plus
- Travel required as needed
