The Mission

The North American (Northam) Field Marketing Manager creates and manages middle and bottom of the funnel campaigns that drive demand for our North American sales team and ultimately help them to close business. The pillar program that this marketer manages is HubSpot’s Northam regional event series, called Grow with HubSpot. These events are a key part of helping the sales team to drive and close demand through in-person interactions with prospects and customers.

The Challenge

In this role, the field marketer works closely with sales and marketing stakeholders to plan and coordinate Grow with HubSpot event logistics such as venue, audio/visual and catering, to manage promotion using HubSpot marketing and sales tools, to manage events on-site the day-of, and work with marketing and sales stakeholders to showcase results, iterate and adapt strategy as needed. This person also works to build campaigns that support product launches, improve funnel dynamics or support other company initiatives. The person in this role will need to ensure there is strong sales and marketing alignment for all of the campaigns they run.

Responsibilities

  • Own and ensure that the Grow with HubSpot event experience (i.e., venue, audio/visual, catering, SWAG, on-site team) reflects HubSpot HEART values
  • Plan, execute, test and iterate on Grow with HubSpot promotion strategy (i.e., email, landing pages, social, messenger) for optimal conversion results
  • Measure and provide actionable recommendations regarding Grow with HubSpot event strategy that match the needs of the sales team with the customer or prospect, and with the business
  • Collaborate with other global field marketers around planning and executing on middle/bottom of the funnel campaigns (ebooks, product launches, etc.)
  • Identify areas to simplify and streamline processes and increase campaign effectiveness
  • Manage cross-functional projects and communication between marketing and sales stakeholders
  • Strong leadership experience during cross-functional communication and project management efforts
  • Proven track record of achieving buy-in for their work across departments

Requirements

  • Passionate about building multi-channel marketing campaigns and seeing their success
  • Has worked with marketing automation and CRM tools to build and execute campaigns
  • Experience working with sales teams and helping them close new and cross-sell business
  • Ability to use data to inform recommendations for campaign and program changes
  • Obsessive over impact and results; able to tie campaign results to company revenue
  • Creative and innovative; will do the same thing twice if it’s effective, yet never short on new ideas
  • Excels at cross-group collaboration and can easily get disparate teams to work together
  • Experience marketing B2B SaaS solutions
  • Travel to manage events throughout the US & Canada required
  • Bachelor's degree required
