EVENT MARKETING ASSOCIATE
Position Summary
Kyruus is seeking an energetic and driven Event Marketing Associate (EMA) to join its growing marketing team. This is a great position for someone looking to build a career in events at a fast-paced healthcare IT company. The ideal candidate will be looking to grow his or her career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work well both individually and as part of a team.
Reporting to the Director of Events, the EMA will serve as the lead for regional, brand awareness, recruiting, and customer events. In addition to supporting industry trade shows and conferences, the EMA will also be responsible for helping to organize and promote the Kyruus-hosted Annual Thought Leadership & Access Symposium (ATLAS) in Boston. He or she will also own other critical marketing responsibilities such as event-related social media, marketing emails, and award opportunities. The EMA will collaborate closely with the sales team on events and sales enablement initiatives at Kyruus.
In this role you will
- Partner with the events team on marketing, logistics, and follow-up for all trade shows, conferences, customer events, and Kyruus-hosted events
- Provide support for all ATLAS-related logistics and marketing
- Plan and coordinate all logistics for events (e.g., venue & vendor selection, contract negotiation, attendee/speaker invitation management)
- Lead for all brand awareness events in healthcare/technology industry located in the greater Boston area
- Lead for all national trade shows/conferences that are attend-only via commercial team
- Lead for any ad hoc customer hosted events
- Partner with HR for all recruiting related events
- Conduct post-event analyses to identify areas for continuous quality, cost, and outcomes improvement
- Order and maintain inventory of collateral and swag for events & sales team needs
- Spearhead social media related to tradeshows and all other events
- Craft and coordinate Kyruus and customer nominated award submissions
- Collaborate with the sales team and leadership around event execution and lead management. Assist sales and executives with dinner bookings around events
- Support sales team with customer-hosted event needs (e.g. shipping equipment & collateral)
In return you will bring
- 1-3 years of experience in events (marketing experience preferable)
- Bachelor's in marketing, hospitality or related discipline
- Strong project management abilities with superior attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interest in writing marketing content
- Self-starter able to juggle multiple projects and manage aggressive timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Top-notch interpersonal skills with the ability to engage well with executive-level individuals
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Healthcare experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with Hubspot and Salesforce a plus
